Last night the only sign that the new year had arrived was a few distant fireworks & some faint jubilation. Instead, I listened to the sounds of my husband & son sleeping & it was perfect. Happy New Year & here’s to 2012. I’m all kinds of excited about it.

snow day

On Monday morning we woke up to snow. Real, proper, white, fluffy, falling snow. I have never seen snow actually falling. Fantastic! So Doug stayed home from work, we dressed up warm & went outside. It was magical.

I really really really want a bach by the sea. And this bach built by architect Gerald Parsonson & his wife Kate, is exactly what I have in mind. Love everything about it. In fact, when can I move in?
